Join the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People for a panel discussion on"Using Capital Markets to Create Social Equity," the ringing of the NYSE closing bell highlighting the Minority Empowerment ETF (NACP), and networking among top corporate leaders within diversity and inclusion.
NACP tracks Morningstar's Minority Empowerment Index, a new tool created in partnership with Impact Shares and based upon the NAACP's corporate scorecard strategy. The Minority Empowerment Index tracks and monitors indicators that assess racial equity and inclusion policies among U.S. corporations with a capitalization of $2 billion or more.
The index is designed to help guide and inform companies in assessing and actively promoting racial and ethnic equity in every aspect of their business, operations and strategy; and to promote socially responsible investing in companies with a strong commitment to equity and diversity.
Commitment is measured through policies, programs, performance, as well as social impact. Companies are judged not only based on their own workforce and boards of directors, but also on their supply chains and community interactions.
